Samantha Yeomans Lead Therapist

Our lead therapist, Samantha Yeomans, is a chartered and registered, specially trained Paediatric Physiotherapist who qualified in 2007.

 

Samantha works privately for Chesterfield Childrens Physiotherapy. She has had the opportunity to work with a variety of different children with a range of conditions including neurological, neurodevelopmental, orthopaedic and respiratory problems. Samantha continues to develop her expertise by attending courses on a regular basis.

 

Samantha is an enthusiastic, empathetic individual with a caring attitude. She builds a great rapport with clients and makes physiotherapy enjoyable.

Charlotte Hookings Paediatric Physiotherapist

After qualifying from Sheffield Hallam University in 2013 Charlotte went straight into the paediatric specialty where she has worked in the community setting covering special schools, the outpatient setting and the acute children's ward.

 

Charlotte works for Chesterfield Children's Physiotherapy alongside her NHS role where she has experience of treating a range of children with multifaceted and profound disabilities. Charlotte's passion for the paediatric physiotherapy profession and her patients is fully engaged as the Trent regional representative of the APCP committee where she strives to promote the best care for children, young adults and their families.

 

Charlotte is compassionate and supportive in her manner adapting a family centred approach to ensure the highest standards of care are delivered. Charlotte has well developed communication skills both verbal and non verbal giving to a good working relationships and fun therapy sessions.

Natalie Jowett Paediatric Physiotherapist

Natalie qualified from Nottingham University in 2016.  Natalie started working in Paediatrics in 2017 and works both in the NHS and Privately. Natalie has experience working with a variety of complex neurological, orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions in both hospital and community settings.

 

Natalie has an empathetic and compassionate approach to deliver consistent high quality care. It is vital to build a strong therapeutic relationship with both the children and their families to maximise potential. Natalie adopts a holistic child and family approach, striving to achieve the child’s therapeutic goals.

Sarah Stevenson-Holt Paediatric Physiotherapist

Sarah is a chartered and registered Paediatric Physiotherapist who qualified in 2000.

 

Sarah works both in the NHS and privately. For the NHS she has provided an excellent standard of care for children of all ages ranging from 0-19 with a variety of different conditions including neurological, neurodevelopmental, orthopaedic and respiratory problems . She has worked both in the community and acute setting. In the community she has worked in a variety of settings including mainstream schools , special schools , patient’s homes and in the Childrens Therapy Centre. She has also worked in the acute sector assessing preterm infants on the NNU and children on the acute medical ward.

 

Sarah has a calm, professional approach to assessing children, developing trust in both the child and their family. She aims to make therapy sessions fun and dynamic whilst encouraging the child to reach their full potential.

Laura Stopps Paediatric Physiotherapist

Laura qualified from Birmingham University in 2000 and has worked in paediatrics for most of the following years. Laura works both in the NHS and privately.

Laura has worked across the full age range, from 0-19 in lots of different settings including special schools, mainstream schools, in the community and at Children’s Centres. She is both hydrotherapy trained and rebound therapy trained and works in these areas frequently as part of her NHS work.

​

Laura has worked with children with a varying caseload of children with very different needs including developmental delay, cerebral palsy, spina bifida as well as children with motor difficulties such as developmental coordination disorder/dyspraxia. She has almost 10 years NHS experience of working in a specialist team with children with developmental coordination disorder. This has included working 1:1 and in groups such as bike riding groups.

Laura is a caring and empathetic physiotherapist who is passionate about ensuring that the child and their individual family are the centre of all her work. Laura understands that every child and family are different and so their physiotherapy must be tailored to their specific needs

Oliver Daly Paediatric Physiotherapist

Oli is a Chartered and registered Paediatric Physiotherapist who qualified in 2018.

 

Oli works both in the NHS and privately. Oli’s role within the NHS is based within the clinical setting of special schools where he supports in the postural management and treatment of children with severe neurological conditions such as; Cerebral Palsy, various Muscular Dystrophies and severe developmental delay. Oli also works in an outpatient setting which has provided him with the experience to treat a variety of musculoskeletal/acute orthopaedic conditions from the age of infancy to 18.

Oli is happy to treat children in a range of clinical settings including; at home, nursery, school or our clinical base. 

 

Oli values the importance of creating a therapeutic relationship with clients and families to promote adherence towards Physiotherapy. Oli will also adapt his assessment and treatment techniques to meet the needs of your child whilst creating a fun environment for their rehabilitation.
